Responsibilities & Expectations:

  • Assist our customers and associates (payrolled workers) with implementations, onboarding, and general account management
  • Process associate through new hire onboardings, timekeeping standards, benefits, and other human resources related functions
  • Build relationships with our clients and associates to improve service delivery and personal / company-wide goals
  • Work closely with sales and operations teams to ensure proper coverage, timely responses, and solution focused outcomes

Responsibilities & Expectations:

  • Record and oversee client accounts and business finances
  • Reconciliation for all customer accounts
  • Oversight of accounts payable and receivable
  • Manage and comply with government (local, state, and federal) reporting requirements, statutory financial statements, and tax filings
  • Oversee billing, tax, and other local financial matters in multiple counties (all domestic)
  • Own all local, state, and federal financial reporting and documentation
  • Keep up with all tax authorities and accounts
  • Review expense, payroll, and tax authority records
  • Maintain the financial database/platform
  • Report to insurance, workers’ comp, local, state, and federal agencies
  • Audit payroll calculations made by the local payroll manager (e.g. salaries, overtime, expenses, allowance, earnings, sick leave / PTO accrual and deductions, etc.).

Knowledge, Skills and Attributes:

  • Well versed in insurance and risk mitigation
  • Direct, review, and prepare financial planning and budget management functions
  • Establish, track, and modify departmental budgets and goals
  • Strong understanding of the overall business environment
  • Use of benchmarking, industry trends, and competitor analysis to inform decisions 
  • Credit risk analysis and establishing customer thresholds

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Administration, or a related field
  • 3-5 years of accounting, reconciliation, and / or bookkeeping activities
  • Ownership and hands-on attitude
  • Experience with tax accounting and administrative skills for filing financial records
  • Attention to detail, recognizing errors, and correctly entering data into financial records
  • Mathematical skills for accurate record-keeping
  • Computer literacy and familiarity with accounting software like Microsoft Office with strong Excel skills
  • Communication skills, including explaining complex financial matters in accessible terms
  • Multitasking and organizational skills including prioritizing duties to meet deadlines
  • Experience in a fast-paced remote environment

As a Business Development Representative, you will have the chance to be one of the first employees at HQ Simple, where you get to build and grow the sales function. Our target audience is talent acquisition leaders who want the best solution to employ their high-touch contractors and temporary workers.

Responsibilities & Expectations:

  • Drive growth through inbound and outbound prospecting efforts
  • Learn from seasoned sales reps and help build out the sales playbook
  • Educate and develop leads through inbound or outbound prospecting via phone calls, emails, events, webinars, and assorted campaigns
  • Identify and develop an understanding of each lead generation process
  • Generate emails sequences and make cold-calls to map and penetrate accounts
  • Research sales tactics/trends and bring new ideas to the sales process
