Careers at HQ Simple

How a work environment should be.

Happy people do better work. The customers feel it, the company feels it, the people at home feel it. So we built HQ Simple around the perks people actually use, not the ones that look good on a careers page.

Lifestyle benefits

Perks you'll actually use.

The two at the top are the ones we're proudest of. The rest is what should be standard, and isn't.

Marquee

Four-day workweek

Full pay for 32 hours. The decision was deliberate from day one: rested people solve harder problems, and the evidence on quality-over-quantity is overwhelming. Coverage stays full because the team staggers Fridays.

Marquee

Annual friends-or-family trip

Up to a week of working holiday, on us, every year. Bring the people you actually want to spend time with. Work a few hours a day if you need to. The point is that the time is real.

Remote, with a real home-office stipend

Set yourself up properly on day one. Monitor, chair, the whole thing. Not a $50 gift card.

Health, vision, dental

HMO and PPO options. Coverage that doesn't require reading three policy PDFs to understand what's covered.

Unlimited PTO

On top of sick leave and holidays. The hidden cost of unlimited PTO is people taking less of it; we actually watch for that.

Doctor concierge

When something is actually wrong, skip the on-hold music and talk to someone who can help that day.

Quarterly and annual bonuses

Tied to goals everyone on the team can see, not surprise decisions made behind a closed door once a year.

Welcome package

Real swag from people you'd actually want to wear branded gear from. Not a sticker and a pen.

High-touch service for our contingent workers and clients. Implementations, onboarding, and account management. The day-to-day that makes the relationship feel handled rather than ticketed.

What you'll own
  • Walk customers and associates through implementations and onboarding.
  • Process new-hire onboardings, timekeeping, benefits, and the HR side of payroll.
  • Build relationships with both clients and associates so we hear about problems before they escalate.
  • Coordinate with sales and operations on coverage and solutions.

  • Cross-team collaboration without needing escalation to get things done.
  • Track record of building loyal customer relationships.
  • Comfort with high workload and shifting priorities.
  • Belief that work-life balance improves performance, not the other way around.
Nice to have

Drive growth by talking to talent acquisition leaders about contingent workforce solutions. Mix of inbound and outbound. Long sales cycles. The reps who win here are the ones who actually understand the buyer's job, not the ones with the best email cadence.

What you'll own

  • Educate leads via phone, email, events, webinars, and campaigns.

  • Bring tactics back from the field that nobody on the team has tried.
  • Stay enthusiastic across long cycles. The work compounds.
Required skills
  • Negotiation and persuasion that hold up under scrutiny from senior buyers.
  • CRM fluency and a sense for which prospects are actually movable.
  • Confidence handling complex, multi-stakeholder situations.
  • Email copy that doesn't read like a template.

  • Ability to build relationships at the Fortune 5000 executive level.
  • Hunter mentality with a real appetite to learn.
Nice to have
  • Talent acquisition or HR domain knowledge.

  • 4+ years contingent workforce sales.
